Before you ride
Spark arrestors are mandatory at every NMTA event—no exceptions.

All competitors, including Junior riders, must also hold an AMA membership and sign the applicable AMA release.

San Ysidro 1-Day

November 1 · San Ysidro. Sign-up 8:00am, riders out 9:00am. The official pre-registration form goes live October 18 — two weeks out, per club rule. Pre-registration closes Thursday, October 29 at 6:00pm local time.

About the club

Two wheels. Ten classes. One good line.

Organized in 1970, NMTA holds about 15 trials each year, from Roswell scrubland to the high country at Sipapu and Taos. Lower classes ride in the morning, upper classes in the afternoon, and each division scores for the other.

The club camps often, runs several two-day events, and welcomes riders of every skill level. Advice and encouragement are part of the culture.
